Taylor began her career with YouTube, at first recording ASMR videos using her smartphone. PewDiePie utilized her video for an episode of one his shows shortly after she reached 50,000 subscribers around 1 1/2 months since the first video she uploaded. Taylor quit making videos on her Youtube channel after 2 months and nearly 100,000 subscribers. It was because of technical problems with her new equipment, and her overwhelming popularity. In August 2022 after taking a break of a few months, Taylor began to create videos, for example, ASMR 10 triggers to help you sleep (35 million views). In July 2017 she uploaded another very popular video ASMR 20 Triggers to help You sleep (38 million views by August 2022). Following the milestone of 1 million YouTube users, she was interviewed in a Shane Dawson interview in August 2017. In February, Wired UK estimated that she was earning $1,000 per day through advertising through her YouTube channel

Helfer is a native of the rural area of Donalda, Alberta, Canada and was the daughter of Dennis Helfer and Elaine Helfer. The two are born to German, English, Swedish and Norwegian descent. She went to William E. Hay Composite High School located in Stettler. She lived and worked at the farm of her family alongside her three sisters: Trena, Tammy and Tara. At age 17, a modeling scout of an agency came across Helfer when he was waiting in line for the cinema.
